You saying the US will crumble is only true if you're looking far into the future. As of right now we are the de facto leaders of the world. And who says we gotta be a "super power" anyway. Would you consider Denmark or the Netherlands "super powers"? Nah, but they are AMAZING places to live and some of the most (if not the most) progressive countries in the world.

"De facto leaders of the world"? We're like $16 trillion dollars in debt. All China has to do is say "Pay us" and the US dollar becomes worthless.
And I don't think people had to worry about nuclear war a few centuries ago. That would make it safer. And with all this technology we're still maxing out at 120 years.
It's not really about finding another place and/or time to live in. It's about reality. This is far from a utopia.

Sex and it becoming mainstream is really not good. Promescuity is not good for our country, not even on a religious tip but on a societal tip. Little girls and boys having children is not a good thing. ANd YES kids "these days" are more prone to flaunting T&A which in highschool leads to sex which leads to disease and furthering the cycle of kids raising kids.
Loving to Gossip and tear people down: We revel in failure and hardship, so much so that we've grown callous as a society. Not that we were all love and hugs before but a black kid gets shot, we riot then keep it moving. People focus more on what Kim K is doing vs what Barak O. is doing or what their senator is doing. As this continues the saying religion is the opiate of the masses will be replaced with entertainment news is teh opiate of the masses....

I didn't say anything about the condition of China, simply that they could easily destroy our entire economy.
And I'll agree I like living at this point in time but that's because not only am I familiar with this time but I'd also be aware of what I'm missing. I'm sure if I was born 200 years ago or 200 years from now I'd feel the same way. I'd find it as hard to live without smart phones and internet access as future generations would find it hard to live without transporters and warp speed.
But none of that has to do with the fact that all powers fall. Do you know anything about history?
