This episode felt like it should've been earlier in the season, like the third or fourth episode in as opposed to before the season finale. It was fun to see the dynamic continue and shift between Dead Wife and Sweeney, but it kinda killed some of the momentum heading towards the end of the season.

As much as some might complain, this was the first real look at how the old gods really kept their subjects believing. Most of the stories have been very quick, and showed parts of the process, but this showed all the way from faith in the old world, to during the journey and even in hard times in the new world, to being rewarded in the end. Reminded him why he's fighting for the old Gods rather than being reinvented.

I dunno, man. Imagine just being worshipped by old school Lil Flip fans and kids who eat lucky Charms cereal to being like.... God of Lottery/Casinos, where everybody worships luck and wishes for gold to fall into their lap.

That's not a spoiler, btw. Just me thinking what a modern day leprechaun would be actually up to.

It's good that Shadow and Laura split because at this point, seeing her getting ran through so many times would've been embarrassing for him

Did not like this episode at all, they need to remember the source material focuses on Shadow and Wednesday not on Shadow and Laura and everyone else. Yes the show needs to expand but not by giving minor characters major roles.

I'm a fan of the idea of making this whole world around the main narrative, though. It seems to be a common thread in a bunch of the shows I watch these days.
