You are crazy if you say amala tastes bad.
Maybe ya mom just can't cook son
Moimoi- bean and egg pudding wrapped in banana leavesWhats some specific Nigerian dishes you would recommend?
I don't eat McDonald's everydayRight. nikka told on himself
There was only one with a phat ass like that...lol. Actually, she wasn't working the drive-thru. She was the one who brought my new fresh fries out to me. They probably keep her phat ass way behind the counter somewhere behind the fullbacks. They don't hire too much eye-candy in the hospitality industry in this part of Atlanta. What happened to the girls in the drive thru with the phat asses but bad attitudes?
I think it’s a general consensus that modern “Nigerian” food is up there for woat on the planet, definitely amongst black folk.

Egusi is objectively the worst of Nigerian cuisine and I don't know why we eat that shyt and expect foreigners to enjoy that. There's way better food that I recommend like akara, pepper soup, tilapia, suya, jollof, moimoi etc.Black people are so fukkin funny.
But nah, I actually just went to get some Nigerian food off of the strength of @JadeB OG Nigerian travel thread.
Typically, I like Nigerian food and I typically go to sit down restaurants where it takes like four hours because they prepare the food on the spot.
This time, I went to a Nigerian restaurant that prepares cafeteria style.
I’m pretty objective and non-biased when it comes to food.
I got the typical pounded yam and egusi with a few other things. The egusi had came with white fish in it.
The taste was well.....you know the smell that a zoo has? If you can eat that taste, that’s how the egusi tasted. It had this very natural taste, like you were eating a dish of the earth, prepared around lions, and tigers, and bears.
Now, with my taste buds, I can appreciate it. I eat chitlins for god’s sake. But I can see how it would turn most people off.
Yes, from day one. And they cook their fries the best..smh. But I can handle them a little better now than I once did. Back in the day, I only ate fast food about once or twice a month. Since I retired, I messed up completely as far as eating more fast food. I regret making that huge mistake.Checkers fries are spicy to you?

My manSpeaking of fast food when I traveled to Dubai and ate their KFC I didn’t feel nowhere near as bad afterwards compared to eating fast food in the states.
The on my fast food in the states that has no impact on me is shake shack and Chik-Fil-A
