It COULD be the greatest country the earth has ever and will ever see, but our people have been drugged and zombie beyond understanding. Why not compare it to Norway, where the same kid would have his entire health taken care of from birth to death, and his entire education, from elementary to PhD, payed by the state?

No. It's overwhelmingly likely that the class you're born into is the class you'll stay in. You can look up the statistics on that, I'm pretty sure its 95%+ you stay in the class you're born into.

Or Finland where they have almost no private schools at all and everyone gets educated regardless of their background and socioeconomic status and there is minimal disparity among those lines. So which country is it easier to get educated in? That kid in Brooklyn will probably have to go private school to get anything that resembles an education with the exception of 1 or 2 schools around there. Stop it. Granted that the American system is certainly better than the UK's system.

The only countries that are in a mess are the one who trusted their private banks with pensions and the like.

Germany, England, France, Scandinavian Countries, and Denmark are doing just fine.
