Plausible, but there wouldn't have been just one flood. Throughout Earth's geologic history, there were multiple 'supercontinents' which broke-off and reformed over several billion years. That's why there are certain organisms and geologic formations found on certain continents, but not others.​

No "Nubia", then NO EGYPT.

I'm not convinced yet of the Nephilim biblical story line. But if it were true, Noah's three sons had wives that were not of Noah's bloodline. They would have most likely carried a "supposed" Nephilim gene that persisted after the flood. Which to me invalidates the nephilim gene theory being the catalyst for the flood. And if it was the reason, the flood was pointless because the gene would have persisted afterwards.
