Every time I go, there's no one even in there for this to be a real issue. AMC are some of the most depressing theaters. How would you describe it? Like a Ghost Ship, the Albatross or something, hurtling towards an eventual doom.

Haven't been to the theater since Bad Boys 4 Life probably won't be back. Movies aren't even good enough these days anyway. I will just "borrow" it or find some other method where I can watch from home.

How the fukk is this going to help bring people back to the theaters? No new upgrades or anything, just the same old seats with a new premium price. How will this help you beat Netflix?

Paying extra for an exit row seat like it’s an airline.
Facts on this being a weird move. They should focus on collabing with more streaming platforms like Netflix, breaking the chokehold Hollywood has on movie theathers.

Apparently that "Knives Out" movie was a successful test run for Netflix and AMC. I can definitely see more collaboration with streaming entities as far as movie releases go.

Netflix should appreciate having an alternative revenue stream such as ticket sales instead of tiered accounts, ads, password sharing restrictions, or paying for tons of 1 season-long shytty series' they'll end up canceling when subscription or viewing numbers don't impress. Movie releases will get them far more bang for their buck. And movie chains absolutely need more movies coming through.
