I think this was an execution. After a long day, she gets home and wants to sleep. Botham Shem Jean, a worship leader at his local church plays loud music and lives right above her. She's filed noise complaints before but nothing has worked. But today is different because she's just come off a long shift. So she goes to confront him. Perhaps she thinks that because she is wearing her uniform that she will get him to comply. When she gets there the door is locked so she bangs on the door and demands that he opens up (this is corroborated by witnesses). Finally, he opens the door, they have a back and forth and he blows her off. Now she's pissed. She goes to leave but before the door closes she opens it and shoots him. After she shoots him, self-preservation mode kicks in and all of the bizarre rationalizations begin.

This should be an open and shut case. But it won't be because she's a police officer and police officer's protect there own. If she gets off on this, it would be one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in our lifetime. But you are already starting to see a narrative develop. Supposedly they found Marijuana on the counter. But ask yourself this. In a case where the police routinely say they are not releasing details, why is this fact leaked to the press? That tells you all you need to know about the police and what their goals are for this case. Just wait until the trial starts and the defense files to change venue from the predominantly Black county where the murder happened, to a nearby predominantly white county. #TheFixIsIn.

In Texas, the punishment for negligent homicide ranges from 180 days up to 2 years in prison, with no possibility of parole. that's all you think this man's life is worth, 2 years with this ARMED POLICE OFFICER screaming "let me in" while banging on the door????

Be with you she murdered that man. But it isn't about right or wrong it's about racist white supremacy and a system that's going to find a loophole to get this cop off. The only charged her with manslaughter when they should have hit her with several charges like she was a black man. That way if one charge doesn't stick the other ones would might. Because they only charged her with manslaughter I think she might beat this case unless the other charges are added.

I worked with his type, and White people love his type, especially if he lasted that long working around them by himself, in the private sector. This is suppose to happen to the brother working with the late crew custodians, or the security staff, as far as their thinking. I always felt this was going to wound up happening to his type, but not this way. Now they look as big of targets as brothers living in the hood, if not bigger.
