I remember the FB video some girl did start Alton Sterling or Philando Castille. See was basically admitting her own privilege and couldn't understand why a cop would do that. I she felt bad for people of color.

So they know. I think now its become more difficult for them to turn the blind eye.

With the myriad of other tragedies, they couldn't necessarily see themselves in the same situation. But going by what the officer says happened, this actually could be them. I can understand how they might feel more empathy/anger in this case as opposed to the usual cac apathy

After seeing this video, she looks even more guilty. Even if he barely slid in the door, the door would have still been heavy enough to slam shut on it's own, a loud slam at that. And like I said, most likely you're not going to use your key if the door is ajar, even if you had the key in your hand. If you see your front door is prompt open, your going to push the door open to see if it's really unlocked. You're not going proceed to use your key, unless after you pushed the door, and the door was still some how attached to the lock, and wouldn't open all the way. But then a again, you still probably wouldn't try using your key at this point.

If the man didn't know her, he probably opened the door because he saw the uniform thinking it was a cop, but not necessarily her, and she should have known that. And she should have also known it was him, since she knew a Black man was living right above her. Her story doesn't add up, and that red carpet definitely stood out. If they weren't in a relationship, then she probably had a bad day that had something to do with a Black guy. And she snapped, since she was already complaining about his music. It isn't very uncommon for non-Black people to turn on you without much cause. And a lot of those non-Black cops get careless with our lives, especially when they're pissed, and feel a slight chance they could pull something off.
