I remember the FB video some girl did start Alton Sterling or Philando Castille. See was basically admitting her own privilege and couldn't understand why a cop would do that. I she felt bad for people of color.
So they know. I think now its become more difficult for them to turn the blind eye.
With the myriad of other tragedies, they couldn't necessarily see themselves in the same situation. But going by what the officer says happened, this actually could be them. I can understand how they might feel more empathy/anger in this case as opposed to the usual cac apathy
Good points both...it also probably helps that this happened in what looks like an upscale apartment complex, and Botham was a college-educated breh in a white-collar job.
I hate that shyt is that way, but it is what it is.
Hopefully improves the chances of real justice for the breh. White jurors won't be able to ignore damning testimony from other whites about what went down.
