The DA's misconduct may hurt the case. The jury said they didn't know there was an interview and hadn't seen it. Hopefully that remains the same.

Don't think they're going to get Murder 1. It's going to be difficult to prove she intended to kill him. Manslaughter should be a slam dunk though. If they can't get a conviction on the latter, Dallas should burn.

When a cop deliberately pulls out their gun and fires at center mass they are shooting to kill. Murder is the only thing she can be guilty of.

And her defense is not even saying she accidentally shot him, they are trying to claim her deliberately shooting him was self defense.

ATL, but rasied in DMV
Local Dallas news mentioned that they think Botham Jean's lock malfunctioned. Instead of the door automatically shutting/locking like it was designed to do, it jammed up so that all she had to do was push on the door to walk in.

She wasn't paying attention and probably thought "why is my door unlocked?" After that, she probably bangs on the door. Botham probably says something loud enough for her to hear because he's wondering why someone is banging on HIS door. She steps in and shoots without actually engaging him in conversation.

If she got "scared" it was probably just him yelling at her to stop knocking on his door....though its possible he never even said that much.
If she thought her door was unlocked, and was that scared, the thing to do is cll for back up. Nobody is going into no apartment alone
Cpr wasn't going to save that brother & i thought she lived right below botham. She could have called for back up .she could of tried to get him to surrender . She killed that bro point blank , she is guilty
Dig it. Ain't no female (cop or no cop) is going into her apartment or any apartment without backup, if she thinks there's one or more intruder's in there, unless she's looking for blood. And if she went in there thinking it was her own apartment, not expecting anything until she saw him, then shooting him that fast was unreasonable. The element of surprise alone, would prevent you from shooting someone that quick. Sounds premeditated.

I too thought he lived directly above her. If she actually lived all the way on the other side, then this jury should have found her guilty yesterday.

The bytch clearly has no remorse and I hope prison is just the beginning of her suffering.

Think about things for a moment, if you made a mistake so grave it cost an innocent person their life, would you look to escape a prison sentence or would you plead guilty.

The c*nt's primary focus was covering their tracks. I hope once the trial is over, everyone who supported her is named and shamed. Where the support sought to pervert the course of justice, they should be imprisoned for life.

It seems that ALL the shyt they put out at the beginning was complete fabrication. From the noise complaints to her living right below him, to him making ANY kind of threatening gesture whatsoever before she lynched him. It was all a lie to give this bytch ANY straw to grasp onto

The lock is the most damning piece of evidence imo. They are claiming that the door being bowed is why the lock wasn't working. What are the chances that his door malfunctioned in such a way that the damage wasn't noticeable to the naked eye, but still damaged enough for the locking mechanism to fail.

Also, how likely is it that dude was unaware that his door couldn't lock?

Is there anything that shows a request to get the door fixed? If not then its bullshyt.

The neighbors heard banging, and nobody just knocks on their own door when they cant get in if they know nobody's home. If she really believed that to be her apartment then she was putting her shoulder into that door trying to break in, and that caused the door to bow and the lock to fail.

Breh jumped up from the couch seeing his door getting kicked in, and she fires on him cause that's what cops are trained to do when they come across black people.

The cover up is the lie that his door was always broken.

Great point....her actions make no sense. You never shoot into a dark apartment. There could have been multiple "burglars" in there....if there was a real situation, she could have easily gotten herself killed.
