Its not an instantaneous process. Expect going forward for them to open new facilities rather than retrofitting old ones because you can have the technology but is the layout conducive to man-free productivity? Its like having robots make burgers. You cant just slap a couple robot arms in a place, you have to design around it. Anyone who has worked in a warehouse(Ive done several) has seen that they are built with humans in mind. Unless you have full in walking drones, entire buildings need to be redone to scale that operation up to be faster and cheaper than labor.Amazon probably already got that automation shyt set up already. They're just waiting for a reason to go full on. They were already testing drones to do deliveries. You dont think they're testing robots to do these guys jobs already. Keep thinking that we are still in 2019.
Why havent self driving cars already replaced drivers? Cause the infrastructure is catered to humans and there are a shyt ton of variables to consider. The little AI vacuums can get stuck under and in stuff while cleaning a room. Why? Cause the room has variables. Its not a quick nor cheap process my man.
