I work in a hospital that has a covid assessment centre, my azz is there every day

so what would i do? Buy disposable gloves and bring a mask and get to work

as well i'd never stage a walk out as a non unionized employee, employee fires you now you can't get EI and no severance and just have to rely on a stimulus check to cover you for how ever long this goes

Idk but im guessing your hospital isn't actively lying about how many people have the virus. If there aren't any other jobs hiring and you can't live off the stimulus I feel like organising a walk out is the only way forward, what's the alternative? Keep scraping by with Amazon or pool our funds together so we can support those that have been fired. It's hard but recently I've been feeling like this type of militancy is the only way out, especially if you're young without a family. No disrespect to you at all hospital workers have it hard.

Those jobs are not as desirable as yall think. My company has people calling in everyday. It's forcing leads at my company having to take routes out. Me personally I feel like if I get the virus it cause of the warehouse. As a driver they put out new protocol. I no longer have to ring door, knock on door, if I don't feel safe touching someone gate to come in I don't have to. As long as I find a safe place to leave the package and take a picture I'm good.

Those gloves are fiber and wool kind of gloves they not even latex... Also I had to buy my own masks outta pocket...I'm blessed I havent caught this covid shyt yet... they need to constantly disinfect every delivery off the trucks before they get placed in the belt...
