this is what people don't understand. its a dog eat dog world, think of all the waitors, waitresses, uber drivers, flight attendants and countless other folks who lost their job, amazon could post an ad tomorrow for a job and prob get 1,000 applicants risks and all.

I work in a hospital that has a covid assessment centre, my azz is there every day

so what would i do? Buy disposable gloves and bring a mask and get to work

as well i'd never stage a walk out as a non unionized employee, employee fires you now you can't get EI and no severance and just have to rely on a stimulus check to cover you for how ever long this goes

I'm not caping for billionaires, in certain situations you have to be smart. Staging a walkout during your shift as a non unionized employee? Now you lost your job and now what? No where is hiring at the moment except the place that fired you, no unemployment because you were fired

same shyt with my job we been delivering food to the residents of the community but shyt the servers and delivery persons had to go out in the rain on golf carts a few days ago and its like yo we can demand better options and utilities. we have to make the people above us do their jobs/do work or else they just come to work and get free money. if you are a on the floor person or a player then its important to apply any sort of pressure you can to management/corporate whatever
