It actually makes sense why he never saw the train coming.

The road curves into the train track and there is absolutely no safety barriers to let him know the train is there. Yeah he could have heard the train but if you are use to driving in cities etc. when a train passes the safety guards are there so you don't go through.

He likely never looked and assume the road was clear.

That man is about to be rich lol.

From that angle he should’ve been able to see the train in his driver side mirror. If you’re marking a left turn, you look left AND check your left mirror for anything you can’t see. He definitely didn’t do that. He just turned left. Now, there absolutely should’ve been safety guards there as well and that’s on the train system.

:mjlol: this does not help his case at all stop copping pleas.

maybe if he was actually in the middle of a city and there were buildings blocking the on coming train... he was out in the middle of no where and should have looked if a damn train was coming right next to him.

the whole rail industry has been cutting on safety practices for almost 20 years

this is standard and there are 3 layers of protection against accidents. i saw maybe 1 in that video.

he should sue them and get his money. might as well cause he's fired from amazon

You hit the nail on the head. There is no arm or light signal at the intersection. Just a stop sign.

Look at this, how is this legal?

That train was right behind him.

There’s no way it snuck up on a blindspot especially if the gates were down.

Looks like he was paying attention, so how did that happen? I have so many questions.:why:

This crossing has no gates. Gates/flashers are determined more less by how many cars that crossing sees per day and a few other factors. Other than that a basic stop sign is what you get.

If you look closely he doesn’t have a stop sign. The road that he turned on to does.

It could be someone stole the stop sign. If Amazon doesn’t have a policy for their vehicles to stop at railway crossings then that brother can sue the railway/county.
