Am I the only person who can't get into James Bond 007 movies?

Hell Sean went full Scot most of the time during his run. He gave zero fukks to altering it.

You read my mind breh..was going to say the same thing but erased it because I've said it before. Sean gave no fukks, he was going to be Scottish. The only truly English guys to play him have been Moore and Craig. Sean is Scottish, Lazenby is Australian, Dalton is Welsh, Pierce is Irish. the only prerequisite is that they be born in Europe in one way or another

Well he actually grew up in England so he developed a palatable dialect between the two.

Shyt, breh. My son and wife are from the south so I'm getting hit from both sides. You pick up some of that southern dialect whether you mean to or not.

I get that. I think the disconnect with Craig's Bond and some fans is that he's more in line with the literary version of Bond, similarly to how Dalton was. The smooth version of Bond is an invention of Terrence Young and Sean Connery (mostly Young) but the book version of Bond was described as a blunt instrument, rumble tumble cat who could be smooth when the situation called for it but he's an assassin masquerading in suits and expensive cars yet never quite comfortable in it
