Am I the only one whose tired of Batman?

Hmmm . . . that's fukkin' interesting. Seems Wonderwoman has been planned since 1996 and still never made it to screen but some want to act like DC's current super hero slate is all but a forgone conclusion for it being released. The future is unpredictable.
Still all that doesn't explain why Catwoman came before Wonderwoman.

I just hope using Batman will springboard the DCU it'll be great to have different comic book universes that have different tones. It'll help add longevity to the genre especially if their films are well received like Marvel. I'm very glad DC is going with a darker tone it fits most of the their comics compared to Marvel.

I disagree about a 'dark' tone suiting DC. Shazam is not dark. Wonderwoman is not dark. It is a detriment to make them dark IMO.

Not once its in full on production stages. Wonder Woman starts filming in November. Now could something happen between now and a month and a half from now but normally everything is a go at this point in a production cycle.

Shazam won't be dark from what i heard and Wonder Woman is kinda dark she's a trained Amazonian warrior. Check out the Brain Azzaerlo new 52 run that's the tone I hope they go for the rest of the line up seems it can lend itself for a darker tone now that doesn't mean the movies can't be fun.

As an unbiased fan of both Marvel and DC, imo DC wants to evoke and present a more serious weight to the stories they are trying to tell. Doesn't mean there won't be any levity. We just have to wait and watch them. Im not going to sit in the theater and try to count the quips and one-liners by the characters hoping they meet some quota so i can feel good. You know what will make everyone feel good....A GREAT movie. As long as that happens I don't care the tactics by which the movie uses. Some ya'll need to grow up with your fanboyism.
