Am I the only one who always thought GZA was the best member of Wu Tang?

They did Deck dirty tho. His debut shouldn't have been affected by the flood. They should've dropped it in between Liquid Swords and Ironman when they had that big gap between releases
Yea bro he should've been the last one to get a full length rza produced album before wu forever in grimy dusty form. instead we got uncontrolled substance which had 4 joints on it but didn't live upto it. Apparently inspectah isn't even on the top tier of the wu for getting paid he's on the lower tier with u god and cap which is wack since he's one of the best in the group.

They treated him like a step child. He even got cut off of I Got My Mind Made Up:heh:

Whats crazy is that along with Meth, Dirty, Rae, and GZA he was one of the standouts on 36 Chambers. C.R.E.A.M. is their signature song and he had the best verse imo

It sounds corny, but GZA is like a samurai rapping. It's precise as fukk, poetic, hazy, mysterious, battle-tested and with enough aggression/charisma to make it all work.

His verse from Protect Your Neck is legendary.
The most amped he's ever sounded? "Bring Da Ruckus" verse.

his solo Liquid Swords is one of the best rap albums ever. Not even debatable. So you could listen to that shyt top to bottom. Amazing beats, amazing flows, amazing rhymes. If I had to pick top 3 on there: "Swordsman", "Shadowboxin" and "Livin In The World Today"
This song and I gotcha back are some of the grimiest songs of all time:ohlawd: rza went ham on the beats on this album arguably the best wu solo album with obcl. rzas top 3 all time and he has claim to the number one spot. idk what happened to rza around iron flag ever since his music direction changed. Like Raekwon said rza always has what you want it's just a matter if he wants to give what u want.

Plus Rae and Ghost already had an album really, they kinda cheated and got to go twice.

GZA has always been the forum poster's favorite Wu member

Not an insult, he's just gotten a truckload of love on the internet since the early 00s
