Gza IS the greatest emcee from the Wu.

It's just scary he hasn't dropped an album in 14 years.

Cool, and he had a great run. But why the pause in his discography?

I know he socialized with top scientists and spoke at Harvard.

Personally, I want a new album. Not my call tho and he is dope.

Incredible MC and lyricist. Saw him last month, killed the performance. The guy is a rapping machine. If he didn't have the outside interests, and especially if RZA was still making RZA level heat, I suspect, his discography would be possibly the best ever. He's doing what he probably would have done if he wasn't born Black and poor, so I'm happy for him.

GZA is sort of the prototypical "MC's MC" the way his lyrics and delivery are so precise. You can tell he's extremely intelligent off just a few bars
In a lot of ways he personifies the essence and sound of Wu Tang.

Is he the best? It gets tough to compare the different members. To me, Ghost is one of the most original and entertaining vocalists I ever heard, not just rap but any genre. But how can you even compare him to GZA? Their styles and approaches and musical directions are so different

I’ve said it for years. I got Gza 1 and deck 2 for lyrics. It’s interchangeable, but those are the top 2 lyricists in the Wu no doubt. Gaza’s metaphors are insane.

This is a double entendre. He could be referring to the snitch being from the Soprano family(many years before the tv show) or calling the rat a soprano in the sense of his voice pitch and that he was singing a hit of another known rat Sammy the bull. That punchline has always amazed me the past 26 years.

I was young when they came out, so i always liked the most animated ones the most; Meth, Dirty, Ghost. I appreciated the intelligence of GZA when i got older.
