Just running as a QB and running TO THROW are two different things

I like a QB to be able to marry the two seemlessly

Jalen Hurts is 14th in yards, 10th in completion percentage, 4th in yards per completion, 9th in TDs, 3rd in interceptions, 4th in QBR and 3rd in QB rating.

1/4th of his rushing yards this season came against Green Bay. Usually the Eagles run him in power or as part of a read option package.I don’t know what you mean by “run first” because it certainly isn’t Jalen Hurts.

Philly offense reverted back to last season with the past 3 games, so you can’t really use season long stats there. When the game got tough against Indy, and Brown had Stephon Gilmore problems, Hurts wasn’t passing the ball. Playoffs are going to be really tough for Philly

This season has exposed immobile QBs though, no matter who you consider the best 5 QBs to be this season, they’re all mobile QBs. It’s a competitive disadvantage not to have one, and I can’t wait til my team replaces Goff with one

Mvp over mahomes? Funny guy remember the last time you had a mvp before week 17 qb
Mahomes is the MVP

Andy Reid will still win without Malhommes in the regular season. Eagles will be terrible without Hurts. Malhommes has 29 TD 8 Int 1 rushing TD.

Hurts 17 TD 3 Int 8 rushing TD

Malhommes has throw the ball more and has more turnovers. Eagles 10-1 cheifs 9-2 so far.

The only reason mobile qbs have this playoff stigma is because throughout history there have been way more pocket qbs playing in the league than mobile ones. Dozens of pocket qbs fail every year but as soon as a mobile qb fails it's an indictment on how they play the position. It's a numbers game mixed with cognitive bias. It's been like this for the majority of the NFL's existence, with only recently there being a spike in the number of mobile qbs playing

The other thing is that teams with mobile qbs tend to be cheap and rely on the qbs athleticism instead of going out to get them some help or properly coach them the ins and outs of playing qb. And because of the cognitive bias part these mobile qbs have to be good right away or else their career's over quick; they don't get the chances to improve over time like pocket qbs do so there's less opportunities to succeed
