Running QBs are great.

It's good to see the NFL move a bit toward a position-less league. That's not to say roles won't be defined. But it's great to see a WR get a rushing attempt or a RB slide out for a pass route. Or a QB scramble for a 1st down.

It allows for more creative football.

On the flip side of that, because it opens up so many possibilities for the offense, defenses should have more freedom to inflict punishment for an offense taking such risks with their new-found creativity.

But I don't think the league will take action to balance things because they have to be concerned with the injury risk any time you cater the game in the slightest to defensive play.

If Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen want to run for 15 yards, by all means. Go.
But if you're going to leave the pocket, I think it should be open season and defenses should be able to lay into you without fear of a penalty or ejection.

I'm well aware of how :mjpls: this post is gonna sound but...

I feel like in the regular season running QB's dominate but that shyt does not work when it matters (in the 'offs).

running QB's don't win superbowls. they just don't. watching Jalen Hurts is painful honestly cuz I just know the Eagles are gonna flop come playoff time when defenses really clamp down on that type of play
Why didn't you use Josh Allen as your example ? Or does he run the right way ? :mjpls:
