Philly has such a damn good offensive line that they look unstoppable with Hurts under center.

Cowboys may or may not be able to stop them....Dak will put up a lot of points but the defense against Philly is a ???

San Francisco might give them problems.

I don't trust Hurts as a passer. Big thing is to avoid trying to sack him too much. Keep lane discipline and force him to go through progressions. Don't chase a runner...just wait for him to move forward and then tackle.
Hurts pass plays are quick reads. He doesn’t hold onto the ball.

Scrambling QB's leave the pocket to throw and run occassionally, running QB's look to run to gain yards a decent amount of the time and look to throw less frequently.

Well, let's take the premise of this definition. And not saying this is what you're saying, but I don't understand why a "running" QB gaining positive yards as opposed to throwing the ball out of bounds or taking a sack is looked at as a negative trait (I mean, I know WHY, but.....)

If you can't pass, read a defense, win games, etc, "running" isn't the cause of those deficiencies, so what would be the point of a critic even highlighting that portion of their skillset?

Philly offense reverted back to last season with the past 3 games, so you can’t really use season long stats there. When the game got tough against Indy, and Brown had Stephon Gilmore problems, Hurts wasn’t passing the ball. Playoffs are going to be really tough for Philly
I think that’s their biggest strength, they don’t need to pass to win. 2 playoff games in Philly in 20 degree weather with that Oline and rushing attack? Against NFC Qb’s? I like Philly.

The league is evolving, them statues ain’t as valuable as they used to be especially since people say olines aren’t as good as they used to be

Prolly because the top QBs don't have those OD lines like they used to where they could just drop back and pick people apart.

Felt like those Peyton Manning Colts and Brady Pats had pro bowlers at every position back then.

Perception is a motherfukker. Watching Mahomes run for his life in the Super Bowl had me :picard:

Defense and the Running game did a majority of the work. Brady been a glorified Trent Dilfer with better receivers
You hate Brady so much that you dont realize that he was referring to Stafford. And Brady had 54 td his last SB winning season. Name me all the Qbs who have led the league in passing tds 5 times and yards 4 times. I'll wait...

I'm well aware of how :mjpls: this post is gonna sound but...

I feel like in the regular season running QB's dominate but that shyt does not work when it matters (in the 'offs).

running QB's don't win superbowls. they just don't. watching Jalen Hurts is painful honestly cuz I just know the Eagles are gonna flop come playoff time when defenses really clamp down on that type of play
You need to be able to throw from the pocket. Lamar Jackson will never win a SB playing like that :yeshrug:
