I ended a 9 year relationship to a a very great woman a few months ago

But man its a mess and im not going to get into that right now. Ive never been a fan of heavy make up and weaves but they are in abundance out here and on these apps. I've met a lot of women so far but only clicked with one so far...but im struggling getting pass the weaves and heavy make up...am I wrong?

Nah, stick to your principles. You'll attract the right natural woman. I hope to have children one day and if I have a daughter I want her to be able to look at her mother and see her same natural hair reflected.

Gonna say one thing: the true appreciation comes when its average women wearing the hair if you do a whole thread full of beautiful, slim women with perfectly prim hair, its easy to appreciate that. I think most sistas beef when cats say they love natural hair is who it is on. I would be the first to say while I dont hate afros on women, I dont pay them much attention. This is a totally different argument though if you are asking me about Bahamadia with a fro vs Yaya DAcosta.

I don't prefer weaves either but it's not a deal breaker as long as it's not obvious and rediculouse...a deal breaker is a wig. I refuse to deal with a women that wears a wig. Natural is the way to go.

I think you got your priorities mixed up.

Her having kids wasn't a issue for me at all....she is genuinely a good person. She did everything a man could possibly ask for while she worked a full time job, worked out, and took care of her kids. Best relationship I've ever had and I've been with all kinds of women....I respect the concern but priorities when it came to her were on point

Theres alot of good sisters out here with self-esteem issues since childhood due to their hair.

They wont even step outside to get the mail without something to cover their hair because of their deeply embedded self-hatred

But deep down - they are good women.
