Outside of Kendrick and Future, it's looking real spooky for male rappers

Outside of those two, did ANY male rapper drop a notable project this year? LL, Cube and Common don't count as they are legacy acts, casuals weren't checking for those old heads albums.

On the female side Giorilla dropped an album this year, the songs with T Pain and the Gospel song was dope but IDK how it did sales wise.

Tyler did 300k a bit less than a month ago....and Camp Flog Gnaw is arguably the biggest rap festival right now

Rod Wave sad ass is literally on an arena tour right now.

21 Savage,Vince,Killer Mike,BigX,Rod Wave,Uzi, all were commercially successful this year.

just admit you either 1) out of touch 2) don't go outside/listen to the radio 3) an old head and don't accept it

A nikka making a lowkey Tyga appreciation thread critiquing the game :dead:

OP always got the worst takes.....unless its some obscure female drill rapper or something he just makes threads talking about artists who debuted 20 years ago :mjlol:

When are y’all gonna recognize music ain’t big as it used to be period. That’s what happens when everyone who records a track can get it out to the masses - it makes the pie smaller and more people spend time in their specially curated hole
This.

Music isn't this all encompassing medium anymore.

There's only a few legit music superstars at this point.

Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Rihanna, Drake, & Kendrick.

There are no other superstars in modern music

And Rihanna hasn't made a record in what 8 years or something?

Music lost it's importance. That's why MTV, BET, & VH1 REALLY stopped playing music, not some nonsense about "music's on the YOUTUBE, now". :mjlol:
