been bumping some lesser known cats I ain't even heard before for example:

there's a ton of gems I ain't never heard before so I got give a fukk about the new shyt

that page has been a godsend for me for the past few years and I'm hoping it's not yanked down because the owner is batshyt crazy and be posting some wild ass shyt on the daily.

I'm at the point where I'm just about to download all the shyt that looks interesting to me and go through it when I can lol.

That Doobie Smoov is the shyt by the way.

I don't know if its just a West Coast thing but I always see people bring Tyler the Creator up in these convos, hear about him a lot but I never actually know anyone thats a fan of his like that
Tyler gonna have a huge arena tour. He has tons of hardcore fans. Including me

Yes, because of Latinos, like I said. :comeon:

Go to your local hood high-school ask all the Black or White kids how many Bad Bunny songs they're listening to. :mjlol:
Go look at the 2024 streaming charts for billboard and Spotify. Rap is non-existent. You even took shots at Karol g and she had the 4th most streamed album this year.

I don't care what mumble rap the hsers are listening to. The numbers don't lie

Not downplaying his success at all but I'm thinking maybe it's that he's huge in crossover appeal. Like a lot of his fans aren't rap fans they're just fans of his, most of the people I'm around are basically just rap fans and never really mention him.

Sohh till they come with the bag to be a consultant and agent for their label to find or assess talent. They can forget about finding the next draw till I say sohh.

And yet, 95% of native born Americans have ZERO idea who the fukk she is. :heh:

And yes, we know Rap is "non-existent" that's the whole point of the fukkin' thread, homie :heh:

Shows the labels in those days werent as bad as we thought.

If anything, they kept people looking strong.

You drop 3 projects of mid ya dead in the water. Todays rappers do that every year and never rise above their small fan bases.

Todays music feels like it was made to attract others, not something the artist themseleves stand behind

Hip hop has no impact today like it did because theres only like 20 real artists that have come out of the genre in 20 years. 90% of the game makes the same song.

I don't listen cause the music isn't good. My expectations aren't high but at least try and it doesn't sound like they're trying so why would I listen :manny:

Rap now just seems like a get rich quick scheme. Plus telling somebody you rap or produced rap music, they will just roll their eyes at you like "you too huh, just like everybody else"
