it's easy to have this attitude if ur living with your parents and have no responsibilities.

when u got kids and people that depend on you, u cannot adhere to this entitled mindset.
People having less kids and more people staying with family so it’s getting considerably easier to have this mindset and I’m for it cause we got too many companies who’s main draw is hyper consumerism selling bullshyt that work people like it’s some life or death post

The Rucker
“You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers, people that are just smart enough to run the machine and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shytter jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it.

And now they’re coming for your social security money. They want your fukkin retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street.” - George Carlin

Whats interesting is how generation Z and millennials all complain about how the boomers had it easy and took all the money, yet everyone breathing now is a descendant of a boomer.

My question is have anyone talked to their elder generation, the people who supposedly have all this money, and asked if they're going to pass all that wealth or take it to their graves?

Not wanting to be miserable at your job is "entitled" :mjlol:

Also, don't blame millennials and gen z...blame their parents who DID go to work at places that they hated and then had their kids watch them deal with depression, hypertension, early onset arthritis from setting in chairs to long, alcoholism from trying to cope with hating 8 to 10 hours of their lives 5 days a week, etc.

All these millennials and gen z'ers saw their parents deal with all that and have decided...nah, not going out like that.
You missing the point.

They can only decide to not go out like that because their parents did go out like that. They should show some fukking respect to their parents for working and putting a roof over their head instead of thinking they are better than their parents because they don't have to go and slave while living for free in the house their parents slaved for.

Nah fukk that. Its not about not going through the struggle its about going through the struggle for years and never going anywhere. The corporate culture resembles the political culture in America. A buncha young hungry people at the bottom ready to get in make change and advance with the times while 75 year olds hog the spots and the money and do no good for anybody below them.
Too many careers are treadmill status.
We as a younger generation don't mind working, we just want to get something out of it, we want results cause we can see the results but we don't see any of it being kicked down. We see the reports of execs making hundred million dollar bonuses yet the people on the ground floor can't get a raise to keep food on the table and gas in the car. Or we work for a company for years and still only getting 10 days off a year and they gotta tell us if we can take it on the time we want to take it.
Old folks call that paying dues, young folks call it fukking stupid and exploitive. Its not being entitled at all. It's waking up and realize that dream everyone likes to talk about is only that a dream and its not going to happen for most folks so fukk believing in it, give us a liveable reality that we're going to be stuck in.

That's why it is vitally important for American workers to have the Taliban style mentality, and go aggressively for what you WANT, not what others EXPECT from you. If they die doing what they love, then :yeshrug:

They are probably depleting the funds in their old age just living because they are living longer.

Black people never passed down wealth like that (generally speaking of course) it's not all their fault especially in America where blacks were purposely held back... the white kids with parents who started trust funds for them and have huge life insurance policies will be aite I'm sure. The generational wealth be passed onto them eventually.

How about that paid off house that those boomers left behind? Since it seems that everyone believes boomers have PIF homes. That can be sold and the millennials and gen Z can use that money to jumpstart their dreams.

The youth see people spend most of their time working and not living. Life is short.
And you know they feel some type of way getting into debt and then seeing that fukking target is asking for 3+ years of work experience for a minimum wage entry level job. Anyone who thinks that's fine is not living in reality.

If you think about it tho Breh, the state of the country and economy rn means their work is in vain now which proves that guys point even further. They sacrificed to give us a better life……..that isn’t the case now for the average person.

I get it. Its a different time and what worked for their parents won't work for them now.

The only thing I have a problem with is acting like they are now somehow better than their parents because now they don't take shyt from employers. Back then you had to or you didn't eat and I think they should show some respect that's all.
