All Elite Wrestling officials have reportedly contacted CM Punk about a return to the professional wrestling business.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t H Jenkins of Ringside News), AEW representatives have reached out to Punk, but he isn't interested:

"CM Punk does not seem like he wants to do anything with pro wrestling. He has plenty of opportunities. I know he hates WWE and he has every right to after that lawsuit. That doesn't mean he should hate New Japan and AEW and all that.

"The reality is he's still under contract with UFC somehow even though they'll never use him again, but you know he doesn't seem to want to be around wrestling. If he doesn't, more power to him. If he wants to be around wrestling he can call them. They've already called him, I know that. He just doesn't want to be around wrestling

Any Punk return would be underwhelming af anyways.

Ya'll need to let go of Punk. Let that man live...if he doesn't want to be involved in wrestling then good for him :manny:
I was a fan of Punk as a rassler, but I have zero interest in ever seeing him wrestle again unless he wants to do spot shows in NJPW like Jericho does. I think that would be interesting.

But as far as being a full-time top level talent for a U.S. company, he's not needed, IMO. He only brings/creates drama. His time is over and his credibility is shot (though of course if he came back anywhere it would get people talking). It's sad that he's such as miserable person, but kudos to him for getting out of wrestling and not becoming a washed-up wrestler in his mid-50s chasing former glory like most do. I hope he stays away for good. I know AEW would love to have him, but I hope it never happens and I don't think it ever will.
