Would :dead::dead::dead: if AEW doesn't end up getting any kind of big TV deal and just kind of fades off, but not before Vince doubles his pay roll and offers someone like Cheeseburger 7 figures just in case

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE has communicated to some of their talent that they will beat any offer from other promotions. WWE made the decision to beat all offers after Bandido signed with ROH over WWE.

Interestingly enough, WWE did not try to beat AEW’s offer to Chris Jericho.

Talent has been told to present all paper offers they receive from other promotions if they want WWE to beat it. In some cases, WWE has stated that they will even double any competing offer if the talent agrees to sign with WWE on the spot.

WWE is responding to all the rumors recently that WWE talent may be looking to sign with other promotions. Vince McMahon does not want an image to set in that talent wants to leave WWE and that there is more money to be made outside of WWE. This is partly why WWE has been so aggressive about keeping Brock Lesnar and why they have started to push some talent that had been unhappy, out of fear that they might leave.

WWE has a significant financial advantage over AEW and ROH and also are willing to just stockpile talent even if they have no real idea how to use them, just as a way to keep them from other promotions.

WWE has been trying to lock talent into longer five year deals, specifically talent that has their existing deals expiring in the next year. The Miz and Kevin Owens both signed new five year deals with WWE recently.

Vince is going to have a football league to pay for within the next year too, and he's doubling deals now :dahell:

That payroll is going to be :whew:

The right person could work him into giving them a BAG to sit in catering for half a decade :wow:
You see the tv deals they got ?

just now getting up on this. I dismissed it for a while, but now I see the owner is that Khan dude. Long money. :ohhh:

BUT I fear the f*ck up. :francis: Immediately making Jericho or Cody the initial FORCED champions wouldn't be in the best interest. Jericho is kinda old to be a champ, and Cody would seem like he booked himself to be champ.

I hope they play it smart. Not go the TNA route of immediately putting over old talent. :yeshrug:

AEW isn't hiring writers? Wow, I hope they have some good ideas. BTE is kind of corny. Not a fan of their wink-wink nudge-nudge type of humor. I think Kenny and Cody have had some interesting ideas outside of BTE though.

The less people involed in creative, the better. Specially in a project like this one. We already know their product is not for us in terms of BTE but they shouldn't be cattering to us anyway.
