What I mean is that the Elite are popular, but on the low. They got the mass cult following. But how many fans in attendance at an E show (mainstream) are actually gonna give a damn or know about them? 5/10? Higher?

Take away the kids and probably older people in their 50's thats been watching since the 70's and still fans.... probably about the same amount.

I think we tend to take for granted how many kids come to the WWE shows or its parents bringing their kids rather. Some are parents that really dont even like WWE like that but just doing something for their children.

AEW like most other feds dont seem to be going for that crowd, they want that college to young 30's age group.... And they can be successful catering to that crowd...

That's why I concluded with NJPW until AEW gets off the ground. ROH sells live event tickets but lacks TV traction while Impact has international deals but doesn't run live events.

If either promotion fixed their distribution or attendance problem, there wouldn't even be any room for AEW to prosper.

That is true but they just sold out MSG and most of ROH's recent success can be attributed to the NJ co-sign.
