- TV deal is in the works but said they are always looking for opportunities to expand and do more than just that one deal (said this after someone mentioned Hulu/Netflix)

I don't know about Hulu, but I know for a fact that Netflix has no immediate or future plans at all to go into streaming live sporting events.

So weird that none of the AEW talent are doing anything on Mania weekend. Biggest week in the wrestling calendar and they're quiet as a mouse.

Can't believe AEW dudes like Adam Page are making tweets about the John Oliver thing and unions when Cody, who was talking about unionizing for months and months before AEW was official, immediately walked it back and stopped answering questions about it (and insurance) once he was in the boss position of a company.

To be fair, he is in a boss position but it's not his money. Chances are the Khan's said no or not right now so he avoids it as to not throw his benefactors under the bus.

Vince however have his wrestlers constantly working and on the road and have had wrestlers die under his watch so he will get his share of flack for not having insurance for his guys.

Oh no for sure he should give his employees who need insurance more than the average worker in an office for obvious reasons fukking insurance.

But AEW dudes (this includes adjacent ones like Joey Ryan) should probably just keep quiet on the issue when AEW was founded around the idea of unionizing/insurance/benefits and immediately dropped it before they even ran their first show.

Why not? At this point AEW allows people to wrestle wherever they want to so they aren't taking advantage of independent contractors as WWE is where they tell you when and where to go.

Because AEW dudes talking this shyt up while being in a position to change the system, and even the LEAD GUY specifically bringing it up as something he'd want to do if he started a promotion, yet taking it off the table once they actually started their company makes them look like hypocrites. Currently they're letting their talent do other bookings, but once they go full time, they will be exclusives and locked down....just like WWE talent.

Sounds like the AEW deals are set up like ROH deals according to Sammy Guevara, said he can't work anywhere in the US either after May 1st or Double or Nothing but can take international bookings.

Cody really trying to bring back WCW is pretty funny. He filed trademarks for Battlebowl, Bunkhouse Stampede, & Bash at the Beach :pachaha:

battlebowl is the most underrated wrestling event of the '90s.

BRING IT BACK.

Wasn’t WWE’s Katie Leigh Burchill supposed to be an Hermaphrodite? Or did we forget that?:sas2:

Yeah I don't remember that at all about KLB. Her thing was an implied incestuous relationship with her brother Paul Birchill that I don't think really even got implied beyond them being weirdos
