Also I think Lamont gaining all that weight after rehydrating helped him handle the power shots but he also moved really well all night even with the weight, I'm definitely surprised at his effort. He was eating all those punches like they was scooby snacks and kept it moving.

He probably moving up to welterweight also though. These types of fight are why I think boxing is the best sport to watch live. It's electric and so unpredictable. I love all that show boating and shuffling and arm winding up.

Garcia is not a top tier fighter. If you're a fan of his and you say that he is, you're trolling, becuz I just don't see how anyone can believe he is a top tier fighter. He's slow, can't jab, can't cut off the ring, and he can't counter. All he's got is that left hook and we did not see that very much tonight.

I think Lamont's corner did him a disservice. They had him feeling himself too much and not being active enough early. He made Danny miss and looking foolish, but he didn't land enough to match the movement. If he would've turned it up in the 6th instead of the 8th then he would've won on the cards.

Btw, Khan was right. He said that version of Peterson would give Danny trouble.

Peterson was landing the cleaner punches ALL NIGHT. I'm looking at Swiftset real funny right now because this was the same reason they(and I) scored it for Swift over Herrera. Here we have cleaner punches landed by PED while Danny wasn't landing shyt, no clinches to land shots like with Juvi just swinging at air all night, Lamont doesn't even look like he was in a fight tonight. nikka probably in the club right now popping bottles and scooping up hipster chicks while Danny whole grill on ice.

you guys are idiots if you think peterson did nothing in the first half. he was moving a lot but danny landed NOTHING. you can argue it was even or could go to one or the other but to say peterson did nothing you're an idiot.

he was checking and feeling danny out the first half. totally fukking smart for him to not stand in front of danny until he felt him out and realized danny couldn't even hurt him no more.

this is exactly how anybody would beat garcia perfectly.

the second half of the fight was ALL peterson after he gassed danny out and starting fighting toe to toe. you could argue the first half either way but the second half you're just caping for garcia. dude was a wreck by the 10th round.
