Actually surprised how many thought the Garcia-Peterson fight was a robbery. Peterson was pulling the reverse ODH. He was not doing anything the first part of the fight. There is a line between boxing with movement and running. Peterson was really toeing that line because he was not throwing offensively at all.
Garcia was not effective, but I thought he won a lot of the early rounds. When Peterson started engaging he showed his superior movement, speed, and boxing skills. In retrospect Peterson should not had been as cautious early on, he was more effective engaging and would have won easily IMO.
If we are scoring off overall damage Peterson won, but on a round by round basis I thought it deserved to be a draw or either fighter winning 7-5. I was leaning towards Garcia 7-5.
As I have been saying, I think Danny is food at 147 against the better fighter's. He is slow at 140 and he has one very good punch (his left hook). Outside of that one punch, Danny's power is largely overrated.
And as I also believe , there is a reason Danny never took the Mayweather opportunity...it would be 12-0 Mayweather.
Still pissed at PBC and Comcast for fukking up their programming when I checked the schedule, causing me to miss Quillin-Lee.

People getting all riled up about the decision, but if Peterson was throwing them hands from the beginning, he would have won 10-2, 11-1 on all three cards. He was clearly the better fighter, but chose to fight in spurts.
