Walt is retired breh. In his mind at least. However I assume he's not naive enough to think you can leave a drug empire like you're quitting McDonalds, so there's some loose ends to warp up.

Which makes Jesse nervous/scared, because technically he's a loose end. I know you remember the strap he had in the finale last year.

Hank can't come at Walt directly, because look at what happened to his boss. He got fired for being Gus's friend. So I expect him to work behind the scenes to bring Walt down.

So that's where we're at going into the first new ep.

Also, 99.99% of the things being said in this thread aren't spoilers. Not for real. The first new ep "Blood Money" got reviewed, so some info is out about it. We spoiler tag shyt out of respect for people that don't want to know anything, not because there's all kinds of crazy spoilers out there.

The poem that Cranston was narrating in the latest trailer was Ozymandias, a poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley. It's about how all empires eventually meet their end, no matter how powerful they grow to be.

Translation: Walt is fukked. Add to the fact that we already know he ends up by himself looking like shyt with only an assault rifle to protect himself, and I don't see how anyone can think Walt isn't fukked.

Just because he has money doesn't mean he wasn't miserable and in danger of being killed/arrested.

Walt is on the run, he can't looked fresh to death, there is a manhunt for him, why would he clean shaven with a fresh goatee, he is not broke, the M60 must have cost him at least 30K because he is buying on the black market, He gave her the money because as seen in the preview this is it, he going out on his own terms. Gus, Avon Marlo all fall at one point, after all the things him and Jesse did, jail or death was the only way they could be out of the business.Being as intelligent as he is, if used Saul's guy and vanished , he had to have spent 450K as Saul said that is price non negotiable. Living on the run would probably cost him another 200K for a year to stay under the radar. The reason he came back is because he wants to settle all scores before he dies.
