I gotta agree. Walt is done. What constitutes "done" is open to interpretation though.

Hank definitely has the brains to end Walt. Hank had Gus shook and this was a man who was 100x more poised and methodical than Walt ever was.

The sole saving grace Walt has concerning Hank, is it would be career suicide to arrest him. So he has to tread carefully.

Jesse? Outright going against Walt probably not. But Jesse has been a liability for pretty much the entire series, so him playing a role (either directly or indirectly) in Walt's downfall is a given IMO.

Then there's Lydia, Declan, the Nazis, and Walt's family. You might be like :wtf: "his family?" but Bryan Cranston brought up a good point in that New York TimesTalk interview last night. He basically said, would dying be the ultimate L? What if Walt lived, and his entire family died? Wouldn't that be a far worse L, considering it would destroy his self-delusion that he did all this for them?

Lastly, like @phillycavsfan mentioned, the poem "Ozymandias". It's also the name of the 14th ep. That can't be a coincidence. That's probably the ep, like "Crawlspace" (and they even used the same music) where shyt falls apart.

Fred.
I was saying jail or being left alone would be a worse fate for Walt. Him dying might leave him a legacy like oh wow that little guy did all of this and have people saying his name for years as oppose to being by himself on the run

Walt can still end up the baddest man on the planet. Still King of Kings.

The poem Ozymandias can be interpreted as Man's mortality bringing reigns to an end, no matter how powerful.

Yea Walt is going to die one day, everyone is. All king of kings will eventually be forgotten because time never ends.

Walt can still pin the WHOLE empire on someone else if needs be. He'll become a master of deception to get what he needs. And justify in his mind after

:merchant::whoo:

he might dip to another part of the planet and create a new identity like Gus Fring. :ahh:

Highly doubt it. Only person he could pin the empire on is Jesse, and there's a fukkload of obstacles he'd have to climb, including silencing Skyler (which I don't think he'd do since it'd be out of character). From all accounts the way they're framing the final episodes, and the flash forward we saw at the beginning of Season 5, Walt's gonna go through hell, one way or another.

I will say this Lydia is a problem and Benike is a problem, Tod is a problem, Uncle Jack is a major problem, Hank and Jesse can be dealt with, so can Declan, and when you take down a king, don't expect it to all good for you, there will be causalities.

As far as the whole "Walt can pin his empire on people"....that shyt will never happen. Walt would rather die than have other people think somebody else was Heisenberg. He wouldn't even let that shyt ride in season 4, despite the fact that simply keeping his mouth shut would've let Hank believe that Gale was Heisenberg. So the odds of him just being like :manny: and letting someone else take credit, even if it would actually help him in the long run, is slim to none.

Oh and one more thing that finally ends a debate that has been going on since last year.

At the New York TimesTalk interview last night Bryan Cranston confirmed that Walt killed Mike because of his ego. He didn't go there with the intention of killing him, he just lost control because Mike was shytting on him.

Here's the full New York TimesTalk interview with Vince Gilligan, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt and RJ Mitte. The interview mostly focuses on behind-the-scene stuff but there's some info about specific scenes/lines of dialogue/etc. for all 5 seasons.

There's also a few pieces of info about the new season in there, too. Specifically around the 1:10 hour mark Vince Gilligan mentions ep 14 "Ozymandias":

Gilligan: The last one he (Rian Johnson) directed is going to knock your fukking socks off when you see it, the 3rd to the last episode.

Cranston, in the back ground: :ohlawd: "oooooooooooooh"

Gilligan: It may be the best one we've ever done.

IGN has a very detailed description of the footage. DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW THE NEW EPISODE STARTS:

Comic-Con: Breaking Bad Cast and Creator Preview the Show's Ending And Debut a New Scene - IGN

We begin with a loud noise that sounds like an airplane engine, but is revealed to be the sound of skateboards as we see some teenagers skating in the swimming pool of an abandoned house. As we cut to the street outside, something becomes clear… We are at Walter and Skyler’s house, but clearly no one has lived in it for a long time. There is a chained gate in front and the house looks terrible.

Sitting in a car out front is Walt, appearing as he did in the Season 5 flash-forward, with a full head of hair and a beard, looking very disheveled, with a stained shirt. He gets out of the car and opens the trunk, where we see the gun he got in that same premiere episode. He ignores the gun and take a tire iron. He manages to squeeze through the small space where the gate is chained and uses the tire iron to break the lock on the front door, going inside. As Walter closes the door behind him, he lets out a small cough.

The house looks terrible inside. People have tagged the walls and flies fill the kitchen, indicating food was left behind – and that the occupants of the house didn’t have time to prepare for their departure. But the most notable thing is the giant word “Heisenberg” spray-painted on the wall of the living room.

Walt looks at the word and then hears the kids skating in the pool, pausing to glance through the blinds at them. He then goes down the hall to the bedroom, where he unscrews a certain wall socket plate… and retrieves the ricin he hid there. As Walt exists the house and goes back to his car, his neighbor has just parked and is taking a bag of groceries from her car.

She sees Walt and suddenly freezes, mouth agape. “Hello, Carol” says Walt, as Carol drops the grocery bag to the ground in shock.

Jesse is expendable , Todd is expendable and if its the fan he can out in a blaze, but Walt can beat a guilty conscious junky like Jesse any-day. Nazi goons well that's the real problem.

If Walt becomes desperate enough to take out Jesse just to survive, chances are he's already done for. The empire would be finished at that point.

This is a great video brehs. It shows all the suspicious behavior and/or dialogue that Hank noticed, but dismissed, over the years, that he's obviously going to look at in a different light now:

He won't take Jesse out just to survive, why did Scarface kill Manny? He overstepped his lane and became a liability, except Jesse is a rat also. Also Walt said he was done, he was not lying, when you the king and the peasants don't eat, they rise up and attack. When the heir to the throne refuses his title out of guilt and wants to walk away also. The peasants can do 2 things feed themselves or force you or your heir to feed them. Read the poem again and think of Scarface mixed with it. Not saying Walt won't go down but this guy has the brains and ego to lay ruin to his own kingdom himself. You put a king against the wall, expect him to fight back.

Tony Montana got riddled with bullets. Your explanation doesn't fly.

Vince G would acknowledge that Walt White is passed that and is more Sosa now. Tony was never king of kings. Walt is in the meth field. He will go down for sure but Vince didn't say he was getting shot by some peasants like Declan, he is no Sosa and Hank is Frank Lopez when you think about it.
