There was a tragic accident here in Oakland (Piedmont actually) with 4 teens home from college, one posted in the Bay Area sub Reddit, one posted in the DC sub on Reddit, now this

To be fair, I’d imagine a lot of young guys are more reckless when driving Cybertruck’s because they feel they’re less likely to get hurt because of how it appears.

That’s exactly why these shouldn’t be on the road. The way they’re constructed with the types of drivers they attract is a recipe for disaster for the average car on the receiving end of being hit by one. This is the pic of the car that was hit in DC by a speeding cybertruck on the STREET…let’s say that was 50 MPH. Now imagine a car being hit by one at highway speeds…there’s a reason the EU banned these. Americans continue to put increasingly dangerous vehicles (due to size, weight, and poor visibility due to height) on the roads.
