I'm a hardcore Aliens fan, I'm not playing the "this time it'll be different" game anymore with the franchise. Promos looked like cookie cutter Aliens movie, same shots, another female-dominated cast. I'll wait for extended cable

Yeah I was looking forward to it, got people together to watch opening weekend. shyt was just a bunch of sci-fi horror tropes. IMO an example of what happens when you let producers fukk with the director's vision.

"Prometheus" was wild ass. One of the worst movies I've ever seen, relative to budget/talent involved. I would really go in on it but I already did at length a few other times.

This trailer has my interest and Fede Alvarez is a good horror director.

Agreed. Prometheus is a nice movie to have on background to help you fall asleep after a long week but it was the ultimate waste of potential. They should be on Prometheus 3 by now and should have changed the game.

Even the blue collar miners on the Nostromo knew that was beyond stupid and didn't have Ivy League degrees....

The Covenant just had a bunch of idiots runnning around...

The storyline was literally an ALIEN COMIC


All they had to do was ADAPT IT.

The comic series from Dark Horse had great storylines and have been around since the 90's. It makes no sense to have had all of these trash storylines.

Looks a mixture of "Alien" and "Alien 3" at the same time, lol. I know this takes place between 1 and 2 (Ala "Alien Isolation"). I'm a fan of the series and like how they utilized different directors outside of Ridely for the each entry. But it's going to take more than Nostalgia (Facehuggers/pulse rifles) for this to be good. It seems he's taking it back to "Alien" and "Alien 3" as far as more horror than Action like "Aliens". But pretty good teaser though.
