My only real negative is that one of the characters accent was so thick, I couldn’t make out what he said half the time. Definitely needed subtitles whenever he was on screen
I thought it was just my theater. I couldn’t understand a lot of what was said.
Just got back this shyt was fire.

I couldn't hear half the dialogue.

that a$$hole with the headband that had a funky attitude the whole time had a light ass death. :stopitslime: He should have had an almost cartoonish death

That MF’er got off with the lightest death. It was so unsatisfying. I wanted to see suffering for that a$$hole

think its the 3rd best in the franchise. Everything was competent across the board. I did feel that the kills were kinda meh though. The thing at the end threw me for a loop. I was :wtf: every time it was shown on screen. Why they have to do bae like that :damn:. The iconic line from aliens was NOT needed and pretty cringe if i do say so myself. When they gon make a aliens flick where they know all about the creatures and just go hunting them mufukkas. Just go balls to wall with it.

Totally fine.

Still love the first two movies when I rewatch. Vasquez is mad cringeworthy though - just a Jewish actress in brownface.
Yeah, very racist...Bad ass character regardless. Goes to show how latino actors were discriminated against too. Anthony Quin, aka Anthony Quintana played Italians. Lou Diamon Phillips, a Philipino played Mexicans and native Americans. Smiley from Training Day plays every race lmao.

I remember Chris Rock joked. "You mean to tell me there is no Mexican Steven Spielberg walking around L.A." lmao

you talk like this is a thing of the past. it's still ongoing. hardly any onscreen representation. and even if they do cast latino actresses' they are 99% of the time not playing Latino.

:jbhmm:Question…do you bruhs prefer Cameron’s idea of a Xenomorph queen. And the Xenomorphs basically being space bugs with a hive and all. Or Scott’s og vision of the Xenomorphs being a bioweapon created from the black goo. We know that Scott originally wasn’t fun of Aliens, and the idea of a Queen. But which do you prefer queen or bioweapon?

I agree. And actually I think it's worse now then it was back then because I can think of a lot of movies that strictly focused on latino/chicano/mex american culture and characters back in the 80s and 90s compared to today.
