I do wonder if Fede could do a more abstract film if they do a sequel that isn't Young people walk into a murder house for the night... Or space station.

I think Fede is a very talented director in this space. His visuals and the set designs are excellent. I'll be checking for all his projects from now on..

Dope film. One of the best looking films in the series and it combines the styles and details of all the other films in a satisfying way. The 2 lead performances are on point too.

Some parts of the movie tie directly into Alien, other parts into Prometheus, but they don't focus on that because the characters and story can hold their own. They can do a few more movies in this series and add more to the mythology that way.

That being said hopefully we still get another David film, or possibly a limited series? to give that storyline closure.

You can't please everybody, like some people want the more ambitious and original lore based films, others just want to replicate 1 & 2. This is more or less the latter, and it works. If you're a fan of the series I think you should like this. Even if its not flawless or original, its just a well made film.

That was Ridley Scott FORCING his prometheus storyline into this movie.

The same with that bullshyt at end which was copied directly from Prometheus.

It wasn't anything new and just Ridley AGAIN trying to ERASE James Cameron's Aliens

You just gotta come to terms that the actual “aliens” are the side story :manny:

They’re just bi products of what the engineers and Weyland were trying to do.

Aliens and horror elements draw you in but the larger story line is actually :ohlawd:

Cornfields, cows, & an one stoplight town
His role was the heart of the film. I don't think anyone else could of done it as well. The synthetic are typically the best character of the Alien films. It felt super refreshing such a prominent role in the series was clearly given to the best actor and someone challenged and bested other before him. Ian Holmes, Michael Fassbender, Lance Henriksen. Now... David Jonsson. Which he belongs among them. He was fantastic.
You're right. He really was great in that role.

saw it.
1. wasn’t scary enough

Yeah, that's one thing that I will say...those people who saw early screenings or whatnot that said the 3rd act was "terrifyingly chilling" and other hyperbolic verbiage like that was putting that extra Polynesian sauce on it lol.

It certainly was a good 3rd act (imo) but I wouldn't exactly use those words. I never really thought Rain & Andy were in any real danger fr, even in the elevator scene where I thought they might
have Andy sacrifice himself jumping back down into the shyts. I will say tho they could've fleshed scenes out more like the Xenomorph stalking the pregnant girl to get them to open the door to show off more of its intellect. That moment was close to chills as it might get.

That's not true breh.

They are only the side story because Ridley is HELLBENT on telling his prometheus/A.I storyline and won't let any director other than him do anything new with The Aliens because James Cameron's movie/take was seen as better :mjlol:. That's why he STOPPED that Alien 5 movie from being made.

What was ALIEN 5 supposed to be?

I fell like after this movie success any scrapped Alien move can now get the green light

And just maybe they reboot Prometheus and we get 1-2 more films :blessed:

This was entertaining. Andy look like Shein version of Damson Idris lol

I knew I’ve seen Andy before. He was good in this random British romantic comedy from a few years ago

This alien movie kinda makes him out a “poor mans” leading blacks actor. At first I also thought they could’ve cast someone else but…..

He’s actually a decent up incoming actor

Probably will get some major roles after this

Ridley Scott doesn't like James Cameron's sequel?
