I have big issues with Rose Twitter, because their tactics and beliefs seemingly aren't based in reality. Rose Twitter latched onto Dore's pushing the force the vote for M4A so I'm a bit weary of them. I also don't get enough exposer to Twitter because I'm completely disconnected from social media. As Someone else pointed out that Susan is a complete loon. With that said has AOC done things I've disagreed with? YES. Is she still vastly superior to 95% of the people in congress? Also YES. So it's hard for me to yell at her when everyone else is doing terrible shyt daily.
And I think the last part is my biggest problem. We have much bigger fish to fry and we're worried about someone we agree with on like 90% of the stuff on. My question is... Why?

Her and The Squad have a unique opportunity they can block any legislation they want if they used basic political strategy and withold their vote for concessions from leadership/Republicans. They were supposed to oppose the establishment. They don't have to do what any media member/comedian tells them to but being the Get Along Gang with Dem leadership isn't what they were elected for. Until the so called Progressives do something they going to get darts.
And we need to hold all pols accountable. No one is asking AOC to do anything she didn't say she would do before getting elected.

Ok you tell me what they're doing wrong. The house has voted in some pretty progressive legislation this session, but how the fukk are they supposed to do anything about the Senate?

i think we can apply this logic to a lot of things going on right now
but its more fun to argue about other stuff

Show some fukking effort to your constituents. Make them vote down M4A during a once in a lifetime pandemic. Make them explain why they deserve raises and the minimim wage isn't worth voting for, make them explain why corporations deserve tax breaks and we don't deserve student debt relief, Make noise, the residual public pressure with the media having to cover your controversial votes will only help your cause. These are all popular positions across the board.

Voted down 42-58 but that's a good thing because now Jimmy Dore knows who was against it.
