RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss recently appeared as a guest on Oh Jezuz! on Power 98.3 to promote this Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 pay-per-view. Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview.

On getting drafted to the WWE main roster: "When I was drafted to SmackDown Live on the Superstar Draft, I wasn't sure if I was ready for the main roster. I never had a TakeOver match, I had never held a title in NXT, a majority of my time in NXT was valeting and managing for Blake and Murphy. I wasn't given a lot of on-screen time when it came to matches. So, I didn't know if I was really ready. My first day on SmackDown, I believe I had a speaking segment and I went out and I decided if I was going to come in as an underwhelming draft pick, because let's be honest, I was. No on was really excited to have me, because I didn't do these amazing things in NXT! I decided to come in under the radar and kick down the door."

On who her favorite wrestlers were growing up: "Rey Mysterio and Trish Stratus. I loved watching Rey, because I was a gymnast, so watching his lucha style was very captivating to me and I found it very fascinating watching him flip around. And Trish, because you know, it's Trish. Who doesn't love her?"

On receiving less attention in NXT due to the success of the Four Horsewomen: "All the focus at the time was on the Four Horsewomen. I was in there at the same time as the Four Horsewomen, but I wasn't given that spotlight. I wasn't the girl they chose to go with. Which is fine because if the Four Horsewomen were going to be the face of this 'Women's Evolution' that's amazing. I know I came in under the radar, I can be that person that evolves that evolution and that revolution and take it to the next step. Be that different kind of person, that different face then being with the Four Horsewomen. I could kind of make my own path."

& now who's even talking about the 4 horsewomen these days?

other than in @R=G's mind those fictional we want sasha chants that go on thru every match
As noted, WWE broadcast team member and Total Divas cast member Renee Young recently appeared as a guest on the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast for an in-depth interview. Featured below are some additional highlights.

On interacting with producer Kevin Dunn more than Vince McMahon: "I don't know, I don't like to bother him much. In Gorilla, I will go over and shake his hand but I usually try to get in there and make an odd remark that I think is charming, and I don't know if it is resonating; I'm not sure. I don't want to seem like I am taking too much of his time because I don't want to be 'that' person. Also, the things that I am doing, everything correlates with Vince [McMahon] of course, but I would be more inclined to talk to [WWE Producer] Kevin Dunn. I talk with Kevin Dunn all the time. He is actually really great. I have a really good relationship with him. He is really cool."

On her desire to pursue ventures outside of WWE, such as acting and comedy: "I really want to do more comedy, but acting was the main thing that I was doing as well. That was the main thing that I was submerged between that but doing a meld of the two; like, comedic acting would be great. That was where my mind always was when I started. I miss doing that stuff. I miss entertaining more and I don't get as many pockets within my current job to do that, so it's like trying to find those other spots to stay true to what I really want to do, but also being that with the reality that I am a 32 year old woman that has a good job in television and makes a good money doing it so where do you choose between part of the thing where your heart wants and what is paying your bill and being a responsible person. It's finding that balance of the things that make you happy, and again, being able to do them in WWE, I have always had that feeling of wanting to do more. I like being busy; I want to be on everything in a selfish way, I like to work. When I just sit around and not doing anything and you keep opening your Instagram or Twitter and just seeing the same videos over and over, it's just like, ugh!"

On how long she'll stay with WWE and working with a production company for outside projects: "At a certain point, I don't know how long my role in WWE will be. I don't know what that is going to be. That could be a thing where I hang around forever and turn into Mene Gene [Okerlund]. I do put out some feelers. I would like to find something ideally where I can stay with WWE for a while and do the things that I do, but also branch out and land out on some other shows and do other things. Like most people in television, I would love to have a Kelly Ripa kind of job; something up my alley, but I have some other shows that I kind of have brewing on the back burner right now so I am kind of waiting to get those executed and start working on those with another production company, so that is definitely something I am hoping to get those things happening."

renee aging pretty quick on tv I noticed :mjcry:
- The official WWE website recently ran a poll asking fans if Ronda Rousey should receive an immediate shot at the RAW Women's Championship. At last check, 70 percent of the votes went to "No, the MMA star needs to prove herself inside the squared circle first." The other 30 percent voted for "Yes, I want to see Rousey challenge for the title right away."
prove herself of what exactly :dead:
The plan as of now remains for Roman Reigns to win the WWE Universal title in April and if that happens, he will need opponents. If Reigns stays as a face, there are not a lot of strong contenders for his title as you really only have Samoa Joe, The Miz and Bray Wyatt and those series of programs would not make a successful title reign.

-- If Reigns turns heel, the number of potential opponents and matches are much stronger and the odds seem to be that it will be against Seth Rollins sooner or later. While that has been done before, it was when Rollins was a heel and since then the Gauntlet match has elevated him to a level occupied only by Reigns, Braun Strowman and John Cena.
a heel roman? will @September drop this guy if that's the case?

It's like a mindset or way of thinking like... if you keep repeating the same false narrative or lie long enough... then it must be true and everyone else will believe it :pachaha:

They gotta find away to keep rene she is probably the best interviewer since mean gene. I think she will be around in some capacity but you never know all it takes is for one producer or casting director to discover her.
