If you can't see the precedent being set to chill any speech that disrupts profits of corporations doing not so good things or to slow or stop particular agendas....that's on you.

It's clear as day, we are watching the corporate and establishment takeover of speech.

This is  to chill speech of conservative, liberal, Independent voices that say or share anything that a nexus of establishment corporate media and peers disagree.

The social credit score is being birthed out of this.

If you can't see it or pretend not to see it, then ok. :yeshrug:

Just in case you missed it the first time.

We are heading towards the Chinese Sesame Credit Score era.Your Credit Score Is Played Out: "China Creating 'Social Credit' Scores to Rule Citizens' Lives"... is this the type of society you want to live in??

Well to late......it's starting Apple is quietly giving people Black Mirror-style 'trust scores' using their iPhone data
the scores only as powerful as people give it

same thing with credit scores. They didnt always rule peoples financial lives but it did once people found it useful

as much as id love to say its awful you not gonna stop people from using these devices which is ultimately why them codes gonna come to pass regardless of whos in charge. :mjlit:

It's not about the devices, it's about who is/why we we are allowing the social media score paradigm to take place and become a measurement in the first place.

We can go vote for politicians that say the this social media credit score is bullshiit, tell these companies to kick rocks, and come up with legislation to get it all the way out of here. :camby:

^^^^^ We can literally do that ^^^^^^^^

It's funny you're one of a few posters that actually responded to this aspect of the discussion, even if your response is it's going to happen anyway. The other Usual Suspects that think I'm crazy for expressing concern about censorship never respond to this aspect of this discussion. Like they literally tip toe around it like ballerinas, even though I bring it up all the time and show links.

They don't want to admit this tech censorship is directly related to social media credit score paradigm like we are seeing in China, because then they would have to admit it's probably not such a good thing to censor people, even if you disagree, if this is the actual outcome :francis:.

:mjlolhairfade::mjlolhairfade::mjlolhairfade:

It's a Halloween spoof on a serious topic about atrazine. It's suppose to funny, ridiculous and satirical.

What is your point here?

In that court child custody case when his lawyer said he was an actor (which the MsM thought they had a "Gotcha Moment!" :snoop:), the full context was he did satirical spoofs or was satirical with his voices and actions as an element of his delivery of information.

sat·ire
/ˈsaˌtī(ə)r/
noun

  1. the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.
synonyms: mockery, ridicule, derision, scorn, caricature; More

Again. Alex Jones is his own brand. He is Infowars/Prisonplanet. He can do whatever he wants. He is not a for hire news anchor.

All those TV anchors on CNN or FOx or MSNBC, etc are workers not owners. They are not the brand of the news organization. He owns his shiit and say or do what he wants. Tariq Nasheed and Boyce Watkins are the brand of their respective media companies. They can say and do as they please. Tariq uses puppets as satire to make his points when dealing with an adversary.

So there is no "Gotcha Moment!". If you are the brand you can advance your POV however you deem best.

for someone who is right wing im surprised with your answer

social media is PURELY a product of advertising. (Google, Facebook, Bing, Youtube you name it) The goal of advertising is laser targeted demographics. The social score will be born from that need.

and it's purely a construct of business. It wont have nothing to do with votes :francis:

if you want social media to have less control you just gotta not use it :yeshrug: but thats not gonna happen with most sheeple

shiet even coli when you think about it. It just a place to state your opinions without having to show your face. Yet its 99% supported by ads displayed to the traffic here. I wonder that the gross majority of people dont even remember the feeling of not having a site like this.

There aint a shot in hell of them legislating anything that gonna stop social media companies:mjlol: Trolls bout to be outed and neg or pos rep is really gonna be life :mjlit::mjcry:

EDIT

to your second part. Most folks dont understand how the internet works at all and just assumes all this free shyt is free :jawalrus: i dont blame folks for being ignorant to it because real talk most folks have to work hard to make it and there really isnt enough time to be concerned with how shyt works

:manny: might as well in these polarized times

either way, it not going to be injected chip like conspiracy theorists say.... but basically if you want to interact with society in a meaningful way they are about to put these folks on blast.

frankly im all for it because itll be purely free market when you think about it. Folks that dont like it will likely start their own social groups off of the major ones.

I've said it a dozen times and I'll say it again.

I do not have to agree nor do I agree with every comment or analysis ANYONE on this planet says. There is not A SINGLE INDIVIDUAL on Earth I agree with 100%. Not only is that feeble minded, it's dangerous, and it's called being in a cult.

I myself have posted multiple pundits from all political spectrums..........Guess What???. I don't agree with them either on 100% of their ideas.....nor should anyone.

Critically Objective Thinking is the only way you won't get caught up in mob thinking.

Notice how Jimmy Dore is the most outspoken liberal/progressive out there. He wears it on his sleeve. However, Jimmy Dore didn't let Hillary cheating Bernie, or his dislike of Trump turn into "Russia Ate My Homework", or his dislike of Alex Jones turn into I can't support the higher principle of free speech cloud his judgement, even when the Liberal/Progressive cult members said he was essentialy a traitor to their political spectrum for doing all the above.

I am not a cult member.

If I like or agree with a few ideas you have, I'll :salute: I you have other ideas I disagree I'll be :camby: on site.

This entire interview is about Dr. Mark Lamont Hill being a Critically Objective Thinker, it's also about censorship and who controls that speech.

Notice at the very end he says, paraphrasing: ...black folks are not about censoring people, that's not in our tradition, we love the American value of free speech........oh yeah?? :ohhh: :whoo: :jbhmm:

2018 The Year of Digital Censorship and Thought Policing...Isn't It Glorious!!!:blessed:....

but apparently he still has all his social media...
