Dearborn, Mi - The Henry Ford (15/70*mm) only 30 mins away
my nygga i know you from the bay just based off of this. Lol @ most of the females I've ever dated being filipino...best asian girls, asian but with latina features
oh ok...my bad.Nah, it listed some of the theaters with dual projection as true IMAX and they weren't. Dual Projection IS LIEMAX too!!!
It's a crime & it needs to be policed ASAP. I really hope this film is the tipping point for this nonsense.IMAX desperately needs to impose standards on what can and cannot be called an IMAX
But I guess they are making too much money from this confusion
Louisville - RC Stonybrook 20 IMAX 211 seats, opened 11/10/2004
We ain't got the real imax , only real Imax is at the science center and they only show nature films
None of the theaters here in louisville are big enough to be retrofitted and there hasn't been a new movie theater built in like 20 years. Companies just buy out the theaters that are already here and have gone out of business.Yeah, no cigar for that one bruh.
It looks like they retrofitted the Mall of Georgia one to true IMAX but that's on the opposite corner of the ATL area from where I live.
shyt is an hour away from me!
I...I...I feel cheated
Don't be like Rekka, goin to watch some bootleg screen....
but the Dark Knight Rises is?The dome theaters are wack compared to the regular imax when viewing a feature film though. The movie isnt shot to take into account a curved screen.
but the Dark Knight Rises is?
I may be wrong, and they may have shot DKR in 2 different IMAX formats but i highly doubt it. You cant just shoot a movie intended for a flat screen and then just project it on a curved screen and have it look right. The IMAX movies that look good on those curved screens are shot specifically for that format and dont even look right on the IMAX screens that are flat.
