i really dont think a giant dome screen matters as long as its 70mm film?
Q&A: How Do I Know If My IMAX Theatre is Real 70mm IMAX or lieMAX (Digital IMAX)? | /FilmDidn't know I was getting dikked around like that.
The difference is drastic breh. The fake Imax is only slightly improved over a regular theater, might as well save your $5

That's my thing. Don't charge the REAL Imax prices on LIEMAX!!

There is a screen in my town that used to be imax but then they stopped because they couldn't afford the licence anymore, they still have the massive screen but now they use dual projection will there be a difference?

there are 2 different imax screens one is a dome the other is flat movies are made for one or the other and dont work well when played on the wrong screen
this movie will be displayed on a dome slightly above you and will be curved
I saw The Dark Knight and I will never see a feature film there again
now documentaries look great on it
are you sure its only dual projection? as I mentioned earlier most theaters have both projection formats since so few movies are released in actual IMAX

I'm actually at a hotel down the street from it as I type this post...but I'll be back in Tucson when I see DKR. I do definitely feel cheated.

Wow i went last .. Drove 70 miles. It was one in grand rapids mi and it was fukin crazy. Best movie experience ever. That one was really packed in tho. I'm sure others are more spread out. This one wasn't a dome one (which I was hopin for) and we were seriously shoulder to shoulder with everyone. It fit like 260 people (which isn't much for an iMax) and we were in the middle of the rows and it was still a little close but all that said it was on some other sh1t. Any big movie I will be going to see there...

Im in ny and i got easy access to the New Rochelle IMAX, or the Lincoln Sq IMAX. Apparently the Lincoln sq imax is the biggest screen in the country
but ppl are also saying its outdated and the seating is messed up
I need a review on both, more importantly the Lincoln Sq IMAX.
This is of UPMOST importance. I need to know this NOW!
