But he said from what he’s read he favors cutting tax rates for middle-class families and corporations.


He said he’s concerned, however, about the legislative process to craft the bill and that it would increase the deficit by $1 trillion.

“I don’t buy into the fact that it’s going to grow the economy such that that $1 trillion debt will get wiped. I think that’s a major problem,’’ he said. “We’ll wait and see how it goes. We’re going to start looking at it just in case I’m up there ahead of time. But it’s a complicated bill. It’s not the simplification process that we were all told about early on.’’
