I myself was once upon a time a Black Muslim, then I gained knowledge and escaped my ignorance.

People do not understand Arabs had Africans in slavery for 1250 years ( 650 and 1900AD), 3x that of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. in 60yrs the Arabs conquered their was from Palestine to the tip of Gibraltar. The Arab slave trade didn't just effect East/North Africa, they even got their slaves from West Africa too.

Now ask yourself this, why is the Arab Slave Trade virtually unknown among Blacks?

Same reason most blacks in American don't know who Assata Shurkur or Neil deGrasse Tyson is, don't know algebra and geometry, and don't know how to not live pay check to pay check- But can spit at least one rap verse verbatim or knows about some other random thing : A combination of economic status, American History, mental brainwashing from Atlantic slavery, private prisons, media fukkery, failing American education system, and division in our community.

Farrakhan speaks on the white man not to attack white people- but to attack the white supremacy and the institutions supported by it. I'm sure if American blacks weren't on the bottom of our society would could focus on other shyt. But for now we focus on American policy, and American history. We focus on modern forms of slavery like the private prison and we focus on government agencies breaking up our groups and killing our leaders. After we have the majority of our women go from Rats to Queens, then we will revisit desert history and go Until then, unless there are Arabs exploiting our communities with degrading stores and products (which there are), then we will stay focused on the mission at hand.

Jesse Jackson is about that money. Pure and simple. Al Sharpton wants to have as much pull as Jackson but comes off as an opportunist pimp at times. I will give him credit for making enough noise about issues that need to be focused on. I can't hate either one of them for keeping black issues at the forefront of this country. Until someone else steps up they are the only one's really holding white America responsible for racist bullshyt. I like what Cornell West says but he doesn't have the organization behind him. He talks a good game, but he is a professor, not a serious liberator of black people. People over the years have let the white man dictate how you should feel about Jackson and Sharpton, I think we all need to take another look. They are doing good works, even if it isn't reported.
