AJ Styles is physically capable of more in the ring than HBK ever was, and I have HBK in my top 10 all-time, shyt maybe top 5.

I agree with this to a degree as AJ's plancha and dive games reveal more of a wow-factor than HBK's, but movesets only reveal a part of it. AJ builds upon a wrestling style that Michaels and others brought into prominence during the 90s, blending the mexican, japanese and USA styles. Allowing smaller to become main eventers more commonly.

When it comes to stamina, acting and enduring big spots - they are probably equals.

Of course it holds weight But like I said..that great performer line is just as a little compliment because Shawn didn't make $hit crack. That's why his reactions are tame compared to Bret Hart, Austin, Rock, or Sting when he returns. They turned on Shawn like 5x for Punk and Bryan since 2013 Come on..if he was that LOVED and respected, he wouldn't be like that.

Yeah. Which means that in theory, he could be every bit as good as Michaels ever was. Personally, from an in-ring standpoint? There aren't many people EVER that could do the shyt AJ Styles can do. Not only can he do all those dives and leaps like prime HBK dominated 1996 with, but pound for pound AJ Styles is one of the strongest people to step in a ring. So yeah, I think from an in-ring ability standpoint, he's right there with HBK if not better.

What it really comes down to is that Michaels had a global stage to ply his trade. AJ did not. Styles has reached another level over in Japan/RoH, outlets that aren't as easily accessible as the WWE has always been.
