Shawn got decimated on promos for almost all of his run..Bret and Austin tore him up. Jericho did too. Punk did as well.

AJ isn't more impressive than prime Rey...Shelton in his prime could basically do anything he wanted...Eddie was better than almost anyone who ever performed in the ring by 97..Macho Man was the definition of a great ring psychologist and his selling was masterful....Great Muta was a insane thing to watch in the early 90s....the Jumping Bomb Angels make the best male wrestlers of today look like novices.

AJ been one of the BEST wrestlers in the world since the early 2000s, but never really got props because he was in "unpopular" promotions.

Hell, at large he wasn't given props when he was running New Japan, because american audiences never really fukked with eastern promotions.

AJ was botching big time for awhile...and he was never anywhere close to a story teller like Savage. Ever. Not today or his prime.

Y'all really telling me AJ could move emotions like HBK did when he returned and feud with HHH/Hogan/Undertaker/Ric/Y2J?

AJ is a fantastic talent, but I think some of y'all buggin out.

I still say HBK was the reason HHH vs Brock at MANIA 29 was even watchable, and did his fair bit in the build to and during the HIAC match at MANIA 28.

Also gonna need some receipts of HBK being that bad on the mic/promos.
