Trump/MAGA Ukraine/Russia Israel/Palestine. Cost of Living Rise of the RW in the West don't need to be in a cult to think something might be off with the world. No-one thought at the end of 2019 that 2020 was going to be :damn:

And let's not forget Covid Pandemic and lockdowns has damaged a lot of people's minds in various ways.

I love history. The world has seen a pandemic before. These silly azz religious nutbag believe anything.

Some people especially in America has fallen onto these cults. It's interesting and sad. See below example, I remember when news broke about this crazy shyt.

Heaven's Gate Cult

During the early 1990s, the cult resurfaced as Applewhite began recruiting new members. Soon after the 1995 discovery of the comet Hale-Bopp, the Heaven’s Gate members became convinced that an alien spacecraft was on its way to earth, hidden from human detection behind the comet. In October 1996, Applewhite rented a large home in Rancho Santa Fe, explaining to the owner that his group was made up of Christian-based angels. Applewhite advocated sexual abstinence, and several male cult members followed his example by undergoing castration operations.

In 1997, as part of its 4,000-year orbit of the sun, the comet Hale-Bopp passed near Earth in one of the most impressive astronomical events of the 20th century. In late March 1997, as Hale-Bopp reached its closest distance to Earth, Applewhite and 38 of his followers drank a lethal mixture of phenobarbital and vodka and then lay down to die, hoping to leave their bodily containers, enter the alien spacecraft, and pass through Heaven’s Gate into a higher existence.

I just don't think he loves basketball like that .

Already made a few mill and his dad is rich anyways
The fact grown men still can’t comprehend the NBA is a job & not everyone loves said job.

The majority of posters here would quit today if they knew they’d be financially secure. Unfortunately none of us were good enough to make a pro sports team :pachaha:

Edit: most of y’all slobs need a gun to your head to eat right & exercise lol

That all might be very well true. But they didn't have smartphones or social media. Many more options to make people suggestible in todays world.

This is what people fail to grasp.

The Black/Bubonic Plague killed off between 75 and 200 million people in only a few years (1347-1352). I'm pretty sure those folks thought it was the end of the world then, too (crazy thing is, nowadays antibiotics would take care of it right away).

Spanish flu had a crazy kill rate as well.

And we'll never know how many people covid could have killed in 2020 and 2021 if it wasn't for high speed internet making remote work possible.
