I don’t know how that’s good for the model long term but I’m sure they know what they doing. Cause less frequent trips could turn into figuring out a way to never have to go again. I can only imagine if you got like 3 sons and in trying to go get they haircut every week in a city like Atlanta
I agree, just going to have clients find somewhere else or just start cutting their own hair. You know barbers hate the word "let me get dry electric shave" because they know that may be the beginning of the end of not seeing that client no more.

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
In fairness haircuts have stayed pretty much the same the past 20 years. Now I am not advocating for $100 haircuts but I think 40-50 is not really unreasonable in 2025.
Yeah, the brother who has been cutting my hair for years went up $25 to $30 last year. He stayed at $25 for the longest.

Definitely less. Almost every barber I've known who didn't own the shop had a part time job or side hustle going on.
Like i know there are barbers that are super professional, cut well and are efficient and have a steady clientele are the ones that are making a good living. But a lot are fukking terrible.

Barbers winning right now. You not about to get no cut in Atlanta fo no less than $50. That’s about the cheapest you will find. This is in the city, if you go out Decatur or anywhere outside midtown/Buckhead area they probably cheaper. But these nikkas eating good in the city. I suspect people are getting less haircuts though. Cause $70 haircuts staring to become the norm which is crazy.

Yeah but my point is nigghas complain how anything over $25 is too much.

nikkahs want $25 haircuts. You essentially slaving for 9 hours a day, 5 days a week make a measly $70k/yr. That's not chair rental or taxes

Nah

You should cut about 2 heads an hour. They’ll bring in over 90k at that rate after taking vacation and holidays.

Assuming their clientele is full (if they only charge 25 and they’re actually decent they’ll have a waitlist)
