Some of these guys ain’t that nice lol. I’ve cut down my barbershop visits considerably since I bought my own clippers and head shavers. I used to go get a clean head shave and a beard tape and one guy I went to was so sorry lol. My hair would literally grow back in like 3 days. I was like man I can do that smh. I got a shop I can go to and get my beard taped for 10 dollars. I bald my own head now. I’ll get the full bald and beard tape if I’m going somewhere important for 30.

Prices are much higher and my hair is easier to cut than when it was less expensive due to my current style choice......

but if your barber got a name like "Slice Da Don" or "Matrix Da Barber" you gonna be paying a premium

... i went to a low-budget dentist out of desparation once . .. this guy had a catfish moustache and took a newport break halfway through the root-canal .. . . came back in and im tasting stale peppermint patty tobacco logs through the latex . .. then the file breaks down in the one root . .. . was told i went over my time and have to come back tomorrow . .. . the stud bytch had no mercy . . .. i got no novocaine . . she told me i need to be a man . . . so i got my root-canal finished with no numb .. . . . . . i think it permanently gave me an irregular heartbeat . .. .

Y'all may roast me for this but if you live in a big city, find a Mexican barbershop.

If your haircuts are relatively straightforward and not too fancy (bald/shadow fade, taper fade).

You may have to endure a couple of wack lineups, but once you find one that actually cuts black people hair frequently, that shyt will be hella crisp and they'll trim your beard and that price will stay $25 for everything til the sun go out.

But I have seen their spots advertising cheap ass cuts

A lot of black men in Atlanta are now going to Dominican and Ricans shops now because they are cheaper and more professional and of course they know how to cut our hair. These black barbers are just taking advantage of the professional black male clientele that need a cut every two weeks because they work a corporate office gig and they have to look presentable at all times.

Good to see the game alot of these so called barbers are running is being peeped. If your lining can't hold up for two weeks sorry to tell you're barber is not as nice as he is charging you. Alot of these barbers have gotten way besides themselves. It was a nigg in my city screaming "Us barbers are the most important people in the world" and upped his price to $100 a cut. I used to get a taper every two weeks now it’s every month or so. My barber is decent, but my hairs grows too fast to justify getting constant line ups. If I was to get a shape up/taper on Monday, my hair line gon be messed up by Thursday.

Now I line myself up every couple of days, it’s not as good as my barber, but it’s serviceable and even got complimented on my line a few weeks ago.

Yeah, definitely, the ordering of food while in the middle of cutting hair is just od unprofessional. A 20 minute cut turn into 45 cause it's 2 minutes of cutting, 2 minutes of shyt talking/distractions...

Once a year around late Spring/early Summer. I’m rocking a mini curly fro, that I trim when it gets warm, so I’ll have enough hair when it’s cold.
