Not sure whether to take your opinion seriously. :jbhmm:

You like Ferg, who is the watered down, more generic and less charismatic version of Rocky.

I tend to put mic presence into flow. Flow is your cadence and how you ride the beat. it's that simple. I don't get into internal rhymes, multis and all that junk.

Like how are you going to tell me.
Think about that for a sec,...
Like how are you going to tell me.

First off, rocky does not have a flow because he stole his flow.
He has low quality okay mic presence.
How, you gon have a flow and you did not make it to own it.

The yams dude was a some kind of dipset intern and a known music blogger with connects. He was able to mold asap and create the buzz for him when he only had two songs out. He even said in an interview rocky was some wack ass cudi wannabee and he told him to get on that Texas shyt. It's all true because his very first song(with ferg, who's dad was a fashion designer for people like puffy, another industry connect there) was trash and an utter flop. But the purple song dropped and the next week it's getting played on hot 97. And blogs are talking about him when dude barely has any fans. But this guy @SirBiatch think we should be proud of plants like that.

Actually Rocky had about 10 or 15 songs out before Live Love Asap even came out

Toast to the Gods
Wassup
Take 1
Peso
Purple Swag
Get High
Been Around the World
Back to the Future
New York Bitter Sweet Symphony
Out of this World
UGK
Uptown
Grown Up

These songs were more than enough to generate a huge buzz. I remember people posting about him in other forums I was visiting. Street team? Maybe. But his buzz was pretty organic to me. Anyone on underground shyt knew about him. Take 1 was the first song I heard and that was enough to get me to check out all his music he had released so far.

I remember back in late 2011-early 12, my boy would play 'Peso' and other tracks all the time.....I always liked the production, but the bars and ASAP always struck me as in authentic, and forced, devoid of real feeling or experience....always felt superfical, and lacked the kind of resonating qualities that made artists like Jay, Beanie Sigel, Yo Gotti, Pusha T, Cormega, Jeezy so compelling....

BX, NYC
-has a classic mixtape, one of the best tapes ever
-Gold selling, 4 Mic debut album with hit records
-Gold selling sophomore album released to a very solid 76 MetaCritic score
-influenced the aesthetic and fashion in the culture for better or worse collabs with companies like Guess
-one of the NYC artist to penetrate the mainstream other than Nicki, French, Shmurda and Fabolous in the 2010's, he and Yams helped put on mad acts
-leader of A$AP Mob not much collectives left, Ferg gave us a solid album in Trap Lord. Nast and Twelvy are capable spitters
-one of the most charismatic rappers out, has one of the best natural voices and flows out
-critically acclaimed acting debut in Dope

His last album was a little too experimental but it had its good moments it's a solid album, Rocky and the Mob as a whole seemed to lose focus A$AP been in London and fukking with fashion, acting and bytches. Rocky is a solid MC sometimes he's a little redundant but he's not trash.

:russ: I keep telling y'all nikkas: I don't stan for Rocky. at all. yet I'm the one tagged in all Rocky threads. I just love Live.Love.ASAP. And as you can see, I really could care less about someone's movement.

Props @noumena :salute:

So he's like the majority of these rappers today? I never listened to ASAP so I don't know what he sounds like or what he raps about but I doubt he's any worse than these other mediocre "rappers" out today.

True everybody was on Rocky's balls because he had a refreshing sound, peso was really that song. As time went on I'm not that impressed by him, his rapping is not even above average. He stepped up the flow and lyrics on ALLA but he still needs work as an artist. Long Live A$ap was a 8/10, great mixtape, good vibes, probably the best thing he released. Long Live A$AP 7/10, went a little lukewarm on that one. ALLA 6/10, only songs I like are LPFJ2, LSD, M'S, Excuse me and back home. It was too long and really didn't need some of those songs on there, some of them are just pure throwaway cuts.

He had the beat of the year. Pretty Flacko II was THEE ONE...:mjcry:. Then he fucced it up by making the song only 2 mins long and making a sh1t video for it. Legit top 10 example of wasting an jnstrumental ever...on par with group home's exploits

I don't think you brehs understand just how retarded that beat is

TELL EM @Don Rhymus :damn:
Nawh fam heard better, great beat, but anything metro boomin puts out kills that beat.
