I don't think we're really fukked until serious policy changes happen. Which if they does happen, it won't be until the gen X out of the workforce.

Also the public sector may take more time than the private sector. At my job we had a big meeting with upper management (public sector) and they made it seem like we don't have anything to worry about for a while....he's talking shyt, they're all in their late 50s/early 60s getting ready for retirement and wanna enjoy that pension they build up.

Reading between the lines, they basically said Once they enjoy retirement and die off, that's when shyts gonna take a major turn.

From my year of Birth...

To now..

The ONLY shyt that's on some "WOW" is the cellphone..

Cars pretty much the same..

I remember back in the day my mom's was like.. by the time u ready to drive cars will be flying...

But think about it..(VR) ain't new.. they jus re packaged the shyt and now we got goofs walking around with scuba goggles on..

Until tech is CHEAP.. it's just a pipe dream..

Those ninjas have their heads in the sand. IF they think that little retirement they built up is going to save them.....They are about to be hurt when reality hits.

Was just about to post this.
AI capabilities are growing exponentially
At this point, knowing how to code is just the start. You have to upskill and learn how to think strategically.at least that's what I think.
The way so is going it very hard to predict where this ends and any forecast you read should be heavily discounted.
What a time to be alive.
This too. I've always said learning to code is the floor-level that'll open up everything else later. It's not like a few years ago where you learn to code and land a high-paying tech job just on that skill. However, if you don't learn to code chances are you're not landing that high-paying tech job.

Learning to code will basically become the bar of entry for someone to even consider you (and not only in tech). You need to specialize from there. For example if you want to learn implement A.I you must learn to code. If you want to actually create the A.I's you're going to need to get your Masters/PhD in CS or Math.

You have to know how to do that anyway.

AI simply saves time. That’s it. It helps senior/mid level engineers complete tasks faster.

And it allows companies the ability to not hire junior developers having them working on repetitive tasks, AI can do.

Basically, you have to be a senior level dev, than can come on board with little to no training required (which also saves money), and can complete a job that normally requires multiple people.

They're gonna be making 70% of +110k on average and most of them become consultants for developers after they retire.

They really rigged the game lol

At the end of the day you realize humans are nothing more than data pipelines.

We take input information using our senses, process it, then produce an output result.

We were smart enough to design programming languages around that principle.

It’s unfortunate that some of the brehs aren’t built for trades. Haven’t seen a starving plumber yet.

A friend of mine started his own hvac company. His daughter is the secretary, his 2 sons are his employees and the wife just stays home and keeps house.”

Breh. Inflation just doubled the price of everything over the last 5 years.

What do you think is going to happen over the next 10-20 years?

Retirement is an illusion they dangle in front of you to keep you working right now.
